The client is seeking to expand its team with a Financial Planning and Analysis Senior Associate or Manager. This role is crucial for supporting their private equity clients in areas such as turnaround strategies, financial modeling, budgeting, cash flow management, and other FP&A activities. The group is dedicated to delivering significant improvements to middle-market PE clients through rapid, sustainable, and cost-effective performance enhancements. Our team, composed of professionals from top-tier firms, is designed to maximize value through deep expertise, flexible staffing models, and aligned incentives.
Responsibilities:
• Act as a financial business partner to senior leadership, addressing key financial and operational needs.
• Provide expert financial modeling and analysis, including:
• Developing 13-week cash flow forecasts.
• Optimizing the cash conversion cycle and working capital (accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory management).
• Analyzing and optimizing capital deployment, and making recommendations.
• Managing monthly and annual financial budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
• Improving financial processes, developing tools, and creating management dashboards.
• Offering strategic guidance and supporting sound business decisions.
• Lead and manage cross-functional teams through structured program management.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Support business and practice development activities, such as creating pitch materials, marketing collateral, and managing internal resources.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
• Over 3 years of experience in financial modeling, advanced forecasting, analytical reasoning, and financial systems (FP&A, Corporate Finance, Accounting, Investment Banking, Consulting, etc.).
• Proven ability to communicate effectively across an organization, including with executive leaders.
• Ability to deliver results under tight deadlines, handle pressure, and multitask across multiple projects.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and accountability.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Willingness to travel to client sites.
